Day 1Welcome to Cairo

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt.
Upon your arrival in Cairo, our representative will meet you outside the airport and assist you in transferring to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2| Giza Pyramids | The Great Sphinx | The Valley Temple of Khafre | Step Pyramid | Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to explore the following:

  • Giza Pyramids (The Great Pyramid of Khufu, The Pyramid of Khafre, The Pyramid of Menkaure)
    One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (and the only one still in existence).
    • The Great Pyramid of Khufu
      Built around 2560 BC as the tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, construction took about 20 years.
    • Pyramid of Khafre
      Built by Pharaoh Khafre, it is slightly smaller than the Great Pyramid, located on an area of 215 square meters. It still retains part of its external casing at the top.
    • Pyramid of Menkaure
      The smallest of the three main pyramids in the Giza complex, built for Pharaoh Menkaure.
  • The Great Sphinx
    Known as “Abu Al Hol” (Father of Terror), this monumental sculpture of a lion’s body with a human head was carved during the reign of Khafre, probably to depict his likeness.
  • The Valley Temple of Khafre
    Constructed for mummifying the king’s body after death, this temple is attached to the Great Sphinx.
  • Step Pyramid
    Known as the “Step Pyramid,” this pyramid is located in Saqqara and was built for King Djoser. It is made up of six mastabas, with galleries and wells that were used for royal mummification.
  • Egyptian Museum
    The oldest museum dedicated to Egyptian culture, housing many statues of kings like Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the builders of the Giza Pyramids.

Day 3Salah El Din Citadel & Islamic Cairo | Ibn Tulun Mosque | Coptic Cairo | Khan El Khalili Bazaar

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to visit:

  • Salah El Din Citadel and Muhammad Ali Mosque
    Built by Salah El Din in 1176 AD, this was the center of Egyptian rulers for 700 years. The mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, was built by Muhammad Ali in 1848.
  • Ibn Tulun Mosque
    Famous for its spiral minaret and arcades, Ibn Tulun is one of the oldest surviving Islamic monuments in Cairo.
  • Coptic Cairo
    Visit the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus (Abu Serga), built on the site where the Holy Family is believed to have rested during their flight to Egypt.
  • Khan El Khalili Bazaar
    One of the oldest markets in Cairo, it’s the perfect place to buy souvenirs and replicas of Ancient Egyptian artifacts.

  • Visit the Shali Citadel, and then you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Salt Lakes: The Siwa Salt Lakes are known for their crystal-clear, mineral-rich waters believed to have therapeutic properties. Take a dip and enjoy the serene surroundings.
  • Mountain of the Dead (Gebel Al-Mawta): Explore this fascinating ancient necropolis, which is home to hundreds of tombs dating back to the 26th Dynasty. Admire the well-preserved paintings and inscriptions that tell stories of the past.
  • Temple of Alexander the Great (Oracle of Amun): This temple is where Alexander the Great is said to have been proclaimed the son of Amun. It is one of the most significant archaeological sites in Siwa.

    • Continue to Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to the goddess of love and pleasure.
